Tillandsia ‘Capitata Red’ is a specialty of the Capitata variety from South America. These plants can get huge in humid and subtropical climates. Its leaves are thick and fleshy, similar to other large tree bromeliads seen in the tropics. The leaves are currently a dull red, but with bright conditions, will cycle through to fire red in extra bright conditions.
